Dream On

Sun Ra

When your hope seems to wane...
When your spirit is down in pain...
You shout at the sky of rain!
Dream on my child
My bright and light child
You are a shining star
Be who you are
Dream on my child
My special and blessed child
Let all know that you are unique, in sight
Show your might, with all your delight
Before you rest, this prayer you recite

"Now thy lay me down to sleep
I pray to the lord, my soul to keep
Thy love be within me, through the night
As I wake up in the morning in the morning light"
