Dragon

Deep in the inferno
In the depths of his eyes
Rage builds like a tiger
Building its muscles
Poised to sink its teeth into the passing deer.

Like lions clawing at the faces of their opponents
Dragging down with the razor sharp talon like an eagle's
Sneaking like a panther
Slinking and spitting like an Egyptian Cobra

Venom begins to drown his words as they protrude from his lips
Staggering and stabbing at me.

Me, the meek, little doe
The puppy that knows not the meaning of right and wrong
Like the hedgehog rolling into a ball.
As the word acid burns his tongue, It makes a blind strike for
my innocent heart

Then strike! Lightning! How strange! It resembles blood!
I collapse, heart beating as fast as a mouse
As blow by blow thunders down And I am once again left
Unconscious, and the last thing I remember is a raging dragon.
