Don't Fret (In Loving Remembrance to All Families - 9/11/01)

Don't fret, Don't fret
Don't fret your hurting heart
God is sitting upon His Holy Throne
And God is still in charge
Don't fret, Don't fret
Because you didn't have time to say good-bye
When that storm of destruction hit
God heard their pleas and He sent mercy to answer their cries
Don't fret, Don't fret
This cruel act surely didn't make any sense
But God's mercy came with a special grace
Equipped to give the heart a shield for defense
Now is not the time to run away from God
But run into His loving arms and stay
Don't fret New York, Washington and other cities
Just know, God always has the final say
Devastation's Pain has shattered hearts and minds
Just trust in the wisdom of God to carry you through these times
No matter how ugly or horrendous
The many faces of evil chooses to be
Look beyond its barriers of hatred
And standing there is our God of love, our Savior and the Prince of Peace

May God keep you and yours in perfect peace
