Do you know me?

Do you listen when I speak?
I mean listening not hearing
there's a difference in between
and it's not easy to clarify

You often say in conversations
yes, I do understand
but saying it and knowing it
are two different things

Awareness can only exist
when you lived it through yourself
or something similar to a case
that binds in comprehension

So if you say you are a friend
and know what's good for me
I only ask you hear me out
and not beset me with advice
