Distanced love

She wants to tell a story,
She needs to let it out.
She had woken up tonight,
Thinking from the heart.

If you could ever love me,
I would sing a song just for you.
If you could ever love me,
I would be the one who writes it too.

She was young, soft and full of love,
Her passion changed with the taste of fears,
Her smile has got stolen from above,
Bringing her to the unwanted tears.

If you could ever love me,
My fears would be scared away.
If you could ever love me,
I would live through with you, day by day.

"Oh, how I wish he would notice me" she finally says,
Hoping he would hear her from the other side of earth.
"Why do I never succeed in life?" She asks,
Maybe she could give herself a few more tasks.

If you could ever love me,
My heart would reach the sky just for you,
If you could ever love me,
I would forever love you too.

"Oh, it's so lonely here without you"
She said,
Reaching the point where people call the end.
If only she could forget the pain,
Her heart could feel full again.

If you could ever love me,
Our hearts would be as one.
If you could ever love me,
I could say I've found the right one.

How embarrassed she is of telling him her feelings,
How scared she is to regain her fears,
She doesn't want to waste years,
Waiting for the moment he re-appears.

If you could ever love me,
And tell me what you've been through,
If you could ever love me,
I would be the right one for you too.

I would steal away your pain
And kiss you in the heart,
I would start it all over
So we'd never break apart.

If you could ever love me,
I would dry my everlasting tear.
If you could ever love me,
I would stop wishing you were here.

I would be your heart, soul and mind,
I'll give you love of any kind.
I would keep these promises for any cost,
I'll make sure I never get lost.

If you could ever love me,
I'll stay strong for you forever.
If you could ever love me,
I would never say never.

She can only imagine them together,
She knew it could never get better.
The love she feels inside is more than a gift,
The only thing she wishes for is filling the rift.

If you could ever love me,
I wouldn't waste our time with words.
If you could ever love me,
We could play each other's chords.

To let her thoughts out she wrote a story,
One filled with the poetry of love,
The things she would do for him,
Can never reach the last octave.

If you could ever love me,
I would be the luckiest woman ever seen.
If you could ever love me,
I would be more than just some words on a screen.

"life isn't measured by the numbers of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away". With my poetry, I want to make more of those breathtaking moments, to put everything I feel into words and let everyone else enjoy it as well as learning from it.English is not my first language, therefore I'd like to hear any grammar or spelling mistakes. Thank you all for understanding, and enjoy reading. :) more…
