Depressed—I Turn To Writing
My best writing stems from emotionally charged moments.
Whether I am full of rage, bitterness, or anger.
Perhaps joy, jubilation, or excitement.
Even emotionally charged moments
of deep melancholy, depression,
create intricately beautiful phrases
which weave themselves into sentences,
which often develop into stanzas.
Which have the ability to shed the cliché light
on the proverbial darkest of moments.
