Day Dream

Above my head,
Clouds take on many shapes.
My imagination runs wild.
I love to hear rivers flow!

Peace and calm,
Overwhelming my spirit.
Birds, bees, flowers, and trees,
They enjoy a gentle breeze!

Then epiphany calls to me:

All of creation alike,
Struggle against evolution's might!
Fusion keeps stars shining bright,
Gravity and pressure, a slow fight!

Alas! The struggle of man.
Now that it is understood,
My mind is clear as it should.
Thoughts in a different state!

Embodiment of pure energy,
That's what a soul is to me!
It's this embodiment
That exists for eternity!

Looking back at the clouds,
Above my head,
Clouds have no more images.
Just a feeling of mystery!

For all there was to know,
At that instant!
Faded like a dream,
Into the mind most distant...
