Dawn

The air's still no movement at all,
Peace and tranquility with no leaves to fall,
A winter's morning with a possibility or rain,
Nature it rests which is our gain.

There's a silence that precedes dawn,
Spectacular this day that has now been born,
Another to satisfy the weary and brave,
Also an opportunity to do what we crave.

Life's for living each moment is bliss,
Treasure this time it's too good to miss,
Awaiting the sun to start off right,
Brilliant when rising such a delight.

Observe its location daily it will change,
Seasons they provide movement that seems strange,
Left to right by only a few degrees,
Yet it's visible and what one sees.

Daylight is refreshing there's much in sight,
Gone the darkness that formerly was night,
Birds they appear there's action at last,

This golden period is over and past.

stan brierly

I find it is a good way to record events of the day and bring history to life. The mental aspect is a balance against keeping fit, work and life in general. more…
