Darkness Comes

my bleeding heart runs over
a rip turned into a hole
as much as its taken of my heart
its taken even more of my soul
pieces lost, the puzzle left undone
it seems i'll never love again
too many strings left untied
too many things left unsaid
instead of being in this hell
i would rather be dead
not feeling anymore
nothing at all can heal this sore
wanting to rewind
to turn back time
needing your love and warmth
to keep me on this earth tonight
