Dance Life

Dawn touches the edge of fantasies,
I sweep a laugh across sheets; fresh with youth.
Light colours fantastic expectation,
shades retreat cautiously, casually
while sunshine satisfies reality,
the morning's sensation creatively individual.
Blueberry sighs flutter from dreams;
sparkling wildly with hints of other worlds,
I blow a kiss and watch it careen in colours;
whirlwinds of imagination's blinks.
The day awaits these eyes full of laughter,
it whispers my name through stretched arms.

Wings cover feathery consumable anticipation
at the fiery sun's gambolling mortality,
stars slowly bid farewell to speculation;
on open universe full of philosophy, astronomical!
Innocence captures songs; a chorus of flight,
as window-wide greetings tumble grins
down airs and graces forgotten in the rush
to explore moments; brand new scenery,
where growth pushes 'hello there' up
towards the future's invisible presence.
With a hiccupped yawn I flip clothes around
muscles which flex energy's offbeat verse,
as ready as I will ever be - I dance life.
