Daddy And Them
Raised on home grown vegetables and common sense.
Life was pleasing although it sometimes made no sense.
Yet, kept us in suspense.
For Daddy and them had a gem.
Bootlegging the spirits to and fro.
Yet, had no money to show.
We had morals though.
To church on Sundays was a must.
Cause it was in God we trust.
