Cycle of anger and abuse
A trend most excused today.
Children watch, and grow up same
They know no better, what a shame.
Their daddy has never been right
Even though you all think he is.
Wise in his own conceit, I see
Only wished he knew better.
You knew it before your birth,
Like a tyrant, everyone beaten
Your mama while pregnant with you
Beaten silly, till she passed out.
Who'd disagree with his stance?
Around the yard he'd prance
Like a unicorn high on drugs,
Destroying his own flesh and blood.
Frankenstein on the outside,
Sad little man on the inside,
Alone in the box living on,
The illusions of his grandeur.
Now his children are all timid,
Too far from success you can see
Psychologically stigmatized path
The only one thing they learned.
Who will stop this shameful crime?
Who will end this sordid curse?
Who will pay their daddy's price?
The enable still, he towers like a God.
***Everyday, I meet, speak & counsel adults...and one thing stands out as the source of most of their issues...AN UNRESOLVED PSYCHOLOGICAL ABUSE...This poem does not address all sources and issues of abuse; but it is meant to reveal how much a Daddy's roles goes to mold the future of his children and future generation. Please read outside the box; from whence I write. Thank you.
