Crazy Dreams

I have kaleidoscope dreams
Of being caught in between,
Hell and a slippery rainbow
Darkness and a bright glow
The thunder and the lightning
Without a reason to even go
But the twisting and turning
Forces the wind to begin to blow
Burning my feet on the heat
Coming from the fire down below
So I tip toe up the color flow
Sliding down the other side
Having nothing to show
Because that pot of gold
Has been gone years ago.
