Counting the Days

We're just counting the days,
watching them fade away.
It's like life's on pause,
God please press play.
You've sent us a blessing,
we'll see it in any given day.
Hopefully it's tomorrow,
judge me not for my impatience.
It's just the responsibilityI'm facing,
has me pacing,
anxious,
as if I'm not sanctioned.
I can feel his entirety prepping for warm embrace.
My rib enduring the race with such poise and grace.
Her belly as round as this full moon,
the flower beginning to bloom.
Her face getting fuller,

our Prince will arrive soon.
