Complacency

I don't even try unconcerned with pride
I try to blame something but it's me who has lied
lied to myself nothing I've felt
like my life story has stayed on the shelf
it's not to late why do I wait
Knowing my future is mine to create
motives aren't clear and clouded by fear
I can't solve my problems sitting right here
pro-active I can change habits, make plans
starting today I'll tell me I can
Life will advance I'll give it a chance
No sitting on this one I might as well dance
