I see a traveller with such a companion
A companion who is always beside him
Friends may enter your life and leave
Yet this companion stays
The youth will become old
But this companion will never age
Love may deceit and betray
This companion promises never to betray
Flames can be put out as ice will melt
But this companion will never fade
Who is the travellers loyal companion?
The companion is no other but his shadow
