Coming home to you

Like the sun set I shall fade at the edge of land and sky,
The rain will come as the wind blows on this dark summers night.
As the clouds break and the stars come out to shine,
To heaven I shall look and find my guiding light.

Moving forward fear is a luxury I will not know,
Traveling the foot hills in a land far from home.
By moon light I will pray for strength to see this through,
As I keep moving towards coming home to you.

At day break as the new sun rises look to the east,
Take a deep breath feel me kiss your cheek.
For you I will do my best to keep you safe at home,
And I will carry your love so I won't be alone.
