Cleopatra

Platinum powder coats her face.
Eyes I forever long to trace,
For strength bleeds through each quick glance,
Given with the grace of a practiced dance.
Oh, lovely Goddess in the flesh!
Mortality only makes her fresh!
She is the one I long to keep.

Yet she was built to make men weep.
Power seeps through every pore,
Each conquest leaves me wanting more.
Hair braided with melted wax trails swaying hips,
Rose baths leave liquid fire on careless lips.
The cobra whispers in her ear,
A secret only hers to hear.

As she leaves Earth to join a new world at death,
She leaves behind her not a single regret.
