Class

Sits there so smug
In black open toed sandals
Long golden rod silk tunbles
Tommy girl jeans-
Stuck up so high
She's above the city smog-
Not that it would
Penetrate her pristine nostrils.
Shaking left foot
Sickening, sweet gesture aimed at the
Boy-friend, some-kind-of-friend, dorky guy friend-
Matched up matches in a matchbox
Too cool for school
Wrapped up, jacked up, stuck on self
Better than anyone else.
High school babies.
Of course,
They don't notice the rest of us mongrels.
