Christmas in July

It's so hot and it's humid
Makes us wish we had snow
So we can be rid
Of huricanes that blow

We're not at the bottom
Of that ninth inning
And a runner needs to be home
And we should be winning
How, we should be winning
It's the third strike
And you know what that's like

Now, where's the aroma tree?
We hang from the mirror
Soaking smokes and whiskey
Front seat of Dad's new car

And it's filled with wonder
How a little square peg
Can fit in a round lighter
Sorrowful existence
Sorrowful existence
They see what we do
Can't escape from the scents

Santa has gotten his coal
On special for this year
To heat our sand castle
Leave sand angels here

Just make your wish list
As always
Surely, you jest
