careening into the dead end.

we became the avalanche
tearing down the slope
the previous exploding sky
forgot to give us hope

ours might be the last of nights
where my thoughts could always stray
laying with the forgotten toys
we've had to put away

disappeared, our minds might find
lasting past our dawn
shared together, the scent of forever
gathering the stars that have gone

smile, the destined, we may be
in empty and the wake
dance the song we murder now
for forgiven memory's sake

laughter tried to fill the ocean
sadness stole the moon
and i sat lonely at the quake
these songs are out of tune

the finding may be all that's left
the curing is the reason
drifting along the souless sky
the silence is our treason.
