By the River...

Within a forest of hope I sit unseen,
next to a river flowing true serene.

As I envision past reflections of unspoken words,
I listen to a forest of singing birds.

Sharing songs of hope to those that hear,
this as the waters rise with each fallen tear.

Pines whispering silent thoughts on a passing breeze,
my shade is that from the surrounding trees.

A ray of sunshine here & there,
nothing in life can I compare.
