An old saggy roof flashes in my mind,(0.00 / 0 votes)
And buildings of love I see in time.
I can't see faces, not even traces,
Just memories another erases.
Where drift of life had past and laid,
Behind every closed and open shade.
How many dreams and joyful nights
Were heard by others, left and right?
Saddness and laughter roamed the halls
Often songs of light visits us all.
Sometimes pain pierces through every room.
Friends gathered 'round to morn or groom?
I refuse to see, look at that moon!
Filled with cries of new little babes,
I vision happiness, as the living aged.
Children trained, faces changed,
Does anyone care to make it known
What each building of love holds? Once owned.
