Brown-Skinned Girls

The hill spreads out its graceful shoulders
To road that in between them rests:
Long-legged, dew-eyed, brown-skinned girl,
Silver ribbon between her breasts.

Softly spreading out forever,
Sky, with wisps of angel hair,
Collects the sun and lets it down
To warm her body, brown and bare.

Across the earth run many ribbons
Between the breasts of many girls,
And wind round many graceful shoulders,
Tie, with many bows, their curls.
