Monosyllabic grunt or nod.
Good enough!
Rarely a motto, bon mot, or jest.
Slogans never.
Good enough!
More ticks to a minute
than words in his speech.
At the dais: apt.
Good enough!
Now he lies at rest.
He failed in writing
Haiku's five syllables.
Not quite good enough!
