Breathing Life Back Into Love

Her kiss like dynamite, sent a spark exploding my heart
Her touch a dragons touch, all mystic and dark
Her hair was a flame and her eyes had a spark
As I drank in her glow, I gave her my heart

She glides on air, as if the ground wasn't there
Floating high among clouds, she's walking on air
Her mystic aura, has a power that reaches everywhere
Leaving a fiery trail, to announce she was there

She has no history, no beginning or end, a mystery
Exploding into my life, she is destiny
The beginning of time explodes, just for me
As a world blossoms in her eyes, it's a mystery

A phoenix arises from the flames of my passion
Rising up from a heart, that was once cinders and ashes
Magical forces beat in a heart that was crashing
Breathing love back into a soul that lacked passion

All poems included here are just first draft's. I hadn't written poetry for a few years, so to polish my art and find my muse I posted some quickly written poems on these pages so I could see your response. It has helped me by reading your reviews about my poems (all of which I have taken into consideration) all comments have helped me improve my work a great deal. Thank you. I realy enjoy reading all your poems. I find some very insperational, some very heart felt, some very deep, which has helped me to push myself and dig deeper. Very deep, on some occasions. So my own poetry has vastly improved- since I have joined this sight, it has certainly helps splur me on. Thank You for all your imput and replies, please keep it up. It has helped educate me and make me a better writer. So if you would like to read more of my poems (the ones I've taken time over, polished them, played with them, worked on them till they truly worked)for your pleasure I have now with confidence published my own book.
