Borrowed emotions!!
As I started to write this thought came to me.
How we read other books and what we see.
We look out our window as the weather directs
What we wear, how we look how it affects.
Effecting our hearts the moods that leads the thoughts
Borrowed emotions of a glimpse we saw.
The beautiful sunshine breathes its warmth.
The exotic flowers in all its form.
Yes borrowed emotions that someone else shared.
Relating to their experience we show we care.
The feelings of the past that we'll never forget.
From years ago borrowed emotions that we met.
A rollercoaster of emotions running through the mind.
Taking or leaving from what we find.
Is it really borrowed or can it really be felt.
Those beautiful experiences that we left.
Well, life is changing so fast before our eyes.
Hopefully with our own emotions we live wise.
Breathing in the fresh air that floats beyond.
These borrowed emotions are finally gone!
