Bluer Than Her Eyes

She made me bluer than her eyes
leading me on and telling her little lies
now I can't believe this mess I've gotten in
she's dragging my heart around again
I don't know why I love her so
but I've never felt this way
I'll forget about her tomorrow
yeah, that will be the day
have you ever heard of a cowboy who cries?
because she made me bluer than her eyes

I used to have the upper hand
I bare down and try to take a stand
she keeps playing me like a puppet on a string
I could say goodbye
but it wouldn't mean a thing
heaven knows I should just go
but I've never felt this way
I'll be over her tomorrow
that will be the day
