Blue Silence

I took your guilt and placed it into me
with delicate fingers; scented regret,
pains still caress shapely inspiration,
but cool time shall bear that weighted anguish.
Gather moments and curl their promises,
shatter love as it walks out of the door.

And I am twisting in anger's cold wrath,
bitter to the broken core of hatred,
all those batted eyelashes crash against
my solitude; fastened to blue silence.

A facsimile of progress leans on her frame:
captured in a photograph; crumpled now,
surgical manoeuvres insert themselves
into this spirit's fine fluctuations.
Gather moments and curl their sanity,
shatter love as it flies through fractured glass.

And I am twisting in anger's cold wrath
bitter to the broken core of hatred,
all those batted eyelashes crash against
my solitude; fastened to blue silence.
I wish you would take memories with you,

And I am twisting in anger's cold wrath
while solitude's fastened to blue silence.
And I am twisting in anger's cold wrath,
while solitude's fastened to blue silence.
I hope that one day you'll feel where I am.
