Bits of my soul.

I am so awkwardly shy, quiet, and meek.
Yet in my poems, bits of my soul start to speak.

I lose myself into my thoughts on poetry.
But what I gain, are the real pieces of me.

I'm glad that I went through some of the bad experiences I did.
For they are making me stronger, I no longer want to keep myself hid.

I want to tell everyone of my experiences, what I'm all about.
And maybe help others, if they are strong enough to reach out.

There are days when I'm sad, that I still find it a struggle.
To try to balance my emotions, it can be quite hard to juggle.

We are only guaranteed, one day at a time.
Life can be unfair, giving no reason or rhyme.

Let us try to build each other up with care.
Because in our hearts, we've all been there.

So please, let us keep writing, keep sending your reviews.
But be careful what you say, one day you might be in our shoes.
