Birds Sing Your Song

Birds they still sing by my window
hoping you appear,
Every song for you is different
like me ...they love you dear.

Every morn they sing their songs
look my way and stare,
All they see from me is tears
I tell them life's not fair.

Every winter sees this robin
no songs do I hear,
He feels sadness from my heart
we both then shed a tear.

Springtime brings me many songs
different one's I hear,
When I hear your favorite sound
I know my love is near.
