Betty's Song

betty madonna I've worshiped you afar,
you are a beautiful woman,
The middle child, you felt apart
you are my shining star.

betty madonna, I thank you for all
your life wasn't what you expected.
Your children ended where you began
Silence in pain is all that we have.

You taught me so many things
you've changed the world for the best
to know you betty madonna
I know that I have been blessed

Lilacs in springtime I think of you.
An old black and white movie.
The smell of beef and playing croquet.
You taught me to say what I needed to say.

Betty I'll always love you
I'll miss you when you are gone.
Betty you'll be remembered
Betty this is your song.
