Betty Ong A Friend and sister we lost

a woman once told me that to be
someone you need to have someone by
you at all times
Betty you were the one who was always there for me.
Until that one day we lost you on that horrible September day
we did not just lose a friend but a member of our family.
Betty you were like a big sister to me.
Then one day you never came back.
but yet we thought about how much my family learned form you
Betty in the long run you kept my family together longer
and I never got to thank you for that
I can finally say what you mean to me and my family.
but I can always look back on this
and say.
"I wrote this to tell Betty how much I loved her"
"and how much you meant to me and my family."
So thank you Betty for keeping my family together
and being my friend and sister
and you helped me to understand
what my life should be and not what life has to be.
The one thing you taught me was to love what you do.
and I will never forget everything you taught me and my family.
But most of all I will never forget you.
I love you Betty and miss you so much Love, Samantha Erickson
