Betrayal

Trust is something
someone earns.
Not what one can just get.

So you earned your trust in me.
You earned my believing.
You laid in my heart.
Yet now it's bleeding.
Tell me why you stabbed my loving beating heart?
Why you would do this
to the one you loved?
Because you couldn't have.
You were just pretending.
And maybe I should blame this on myself
for not seeing.

Now I don't no who to love.
Tell me who does one trust,
if you could cause this bleeding?
What stops another from causing me pain?
I wont make this mistake anymore.
Im going to wipe my blood up from the floor,
and there will never be more.
