Beloved

Just over a month down
And I'm already hearing
Rumors and ruminations -- virulent sounds...
Anticipation of an impending demise
Because just like Hell
The eyes of man are never satisfied

Until blue skies are covered with flies
As itching ears feed on the ignorance of lies
And everything that seeks to rage
Up and against the steadfastness of Wisdom

But, Oh, thank God for her children --
With the minds of serpents
And the gentleness of their features
She calls aloud for them in the street
And they come flying home
With a vengeance unknown
Laying waste to perpetrators
Who attempt to lay claim to her throne

And when the dust settles...
My beloved stands alone
Adorned in truth and beauty
Atop the bones of Death and resentment
Her goodness is undisputed

She is a gift from God...
Irrevocable.
Purity is her witness...
Irreproachable.

Any lover less wild
Will be rightfully denied
Because the passion of her gaze
p*ss uncontrollable

Like a steamroller to my soul
I am forever joined by her side...

I only belong to my beloved
And my beloved is mine
