Being of Acquaintance

A friend asked me for a favor
Since I was who I was
And with whom I knew
Being of acquaintance
With the Lord our God
My friend asked me to pray
For they were lost and didn't know
How to be found and led home
Though I kept my promise
I also told him that he could pray too
So we prayed together and he thanked me
He too was now grateful for
Being of acquaintance
With the Lord our God

Eric Barkley

I write from my mind and heart, with many different inspirations. Mostly God & Jesus Christ. I try to include all aspects of my life, even the insanity that encompasses my thoughts. I hope everyone is at least intrigued, if not blessed by what is written. Peace to you all. more…
