Being Me

I’ve spent my whole life, up until this very moment, trying to figure out what kind of person i want to be- and now I have finally come to the conclusion that the only person I need to be is me.

We watch and we wait,
In silence we contemplate
What it means to be...
This so called me.

Reminiscent of times so much simpler
When no doubts existed, not even a whisper

But now in my heard there’s an internal debate, voices so loud i cannot concentrate
So what is the meaning of life you ask?
To live in the moment and take off your mask.
Let your light shine and may all that’s divine
Shown through the darkness and bid us goodbyes.
