Behaving Properly

I eat fresh fruits, veggies and roots.
I never take a toke.
I cut out sweets, all red-blood meats.
I never drink or smoke.

I meditate. I concentrate
on all things positive.
I read good books, avoid vain looks
and to the poor I give.

I early rise. I exercise.
I'm no couch potato.
I walk or run, lift weights for fun;
I'm always on the go.

I follow rules. Attend great schools.
I work hard for my pay.
I render tax, bury the ax.
I control what I say.

The sad reward is that I'm bored
behaving properly.
I may rebel, show up what will,
even if malady.
