Before Absolution (Jessie Dedication)

(Part 1)
And so I feel this pain in my chest
As she walks away, just like the rest
With one more Breath, I try to steady my heart
And pull it together, as it falls apart
Is this my fate, to face the pale night
Or is it my punishment, for failing to fight
Now kiss me goodnight, For this is my last
That I will ever see of you, for our moment has passed
In torment you left me, as we go through this life
I can try no more, I will have no wife
I hold my breath, as I try to die
Then comes an angel, so delicate, so shy
And she speaks to me, as I watch her lips
So pure, so loving, through my prison, it rips
What she says, isn't what I hear
It's the voice of my own heart, that whispers in my ear
Please try, try for love with this one
For surely an angel would cause me no further harm
(Jessie True Ending)
And so towards her beautiful light, I extend an arm
I pull away, before I get too close
what is that, I see running down her nose
the stain of a steady stream of tears,
that came from her amazing eyes
she is a wounded angel,
surely hurt by anothers lies
I dare not be selfish,
and ask her to trust me
what if I hurt, even though that I could never see
and so to my bosom, the thought of her I will clutch
until the day, it becomes too much
and on that day, I will get down on my knees
and pray to my angel, may I keep you...
please...
please...
I love you
