Beauty is more than just skin deep!!!!

I never have fit in with the beautiful crowd.
Most of them I found obnoxious and loud.
To only think of themselves, to be that proud.

If that's their club, then I want to be no part of it.
How can you treat another human being like sh*t.
Now, I'm old enough to realize it, I'm glad I never fit.

But that's because, beauty is so much more than what's skin deep.
We have to search our souls, and just realize what we want to keep.
To know what is in our souls, inside and out, to take that giant leap.

Beauty of the soul, lasts so much longer in the end, so why pretend?
The sooner we figure this out in life, the sooner that we can mend.
We can even be there to help others, for their own souls to defend.

I'm not saying there aren't those people who are beautiful inside and out.
In my heart and soul, I know that they exist, without a shadow of a doubt.
Because they can be the ones that can teach us what love is all about.
