Beautiful thing, betwixt earth an'sky, do prostate lie.

Sadness deep, gace profound, long o'for sleep.

In supplication, rendered most light, forgave man's plight.

Return'ed home, one so sweet, welcom'd to hallowed dome.

Flesh bare, crown'd o thorn, such majesty torn.

Awesome might, gentle lamb, surrendered to holy blight.

Beautiful thing, betwixt earth an'sky, do prostate lie.
