back on my feet

I gave my heart a break...
 From all the lies n big mistakes
 I untangled every knot...
 But believe me ive not forgot!!

The pain i learn to live with
 My heart... i just wont give!
 Trusting will be harder
 I will constantly keep my guard up

 A lesson learned.. yes indeed
 Between the lines i'll now read
 My ignorance to my gut instinct...
 Were now friends n so in sync!!

 My head is high no longer down
 I smile instead of that horrible frown
 I love me.... yes you heard correct
 Getting to this point was hell of a trek!!
