Baby sister back then, today my everything.
She was my baby sister then, I remember kissing her beautiful face.
She made me feel so loved, something that I would never replace.
I would always bask in her trust, and her warm and loving embrace.
She helped me to become, the woman I was meant to be.
I grew up to know what I wanted, as she looked at me affectionately.
My eyes only for her and my brother, I couldn't believe how they trusted me.
I saw her grow in Grace and beauty.
As she was taught of faith and duty.
She was sweet, and kind, a real cutie.
As the years past, we didn't see each other much.
For I got married young, started my family, and such.
But she never realized how much I used her as my crutch.
She always has been my inspiration.
She even might have a different interpretation.
All that I know, is that without her, it would have led to my devastation.
Then something happened, we were able to see each other again.
I couldn't remember being that happy in God only knows when.
We started talking as adults, she said she knew why I left back then.
Since then we have inseparable in heart.
We've never again, let anything pull us apart.
But in reality, I never left, I was in it from the start.
She is one of my sister's, whom I couldn't love more.
Her love, kindness, and compassion, I will always adore.
Her love shines through, beaming, from shore to shore.
