Awake

Shinning light tints my face
As I lay to wake
Upon this precious time and place
Dreaming to be enlightened

But it is a battle for me to win
Through hardships and love
As the roses hurt my skin
Quite appealing and soothing

As I faint at this given time
For there is more that awaits me
Thus a mountain to climb
Of a meek future

As the clock ticks its last
I diguise my scattered shine
Which hides woven within the past
Of a mangled heart

Haunted by my empty image
Infront of this honest mirror
My mind floats beyond the stars
But my heart draws nearer
