As well

When you screamed your song of beginning
It echoed out so far and near
Across the mountains, hills and valleys
To every place that had an ear.

Then the cry came, oh so, uplifting
The cry of peace resulting from love
The sound it was so heart endearing
Cooing soft, like a turtle dove.

Another life is now beginning
So full of hope, so free of fear
While in state of unborn dreaming
Peaceful times in the fetal bond.

Now those tiny hands are grasping
For understanding of the pain
The world turns blind eyes to all the suffering
Starvation's loosed across the lands.

Mother's forced to watch their children
As the tiny bellies swell in pain
Legs of the young, so thin and failing
No fault, they live in the lands of hell.

When will the people find the truth?
About this world, they live in and share
As long as one suffers needless
We all are cursed to this fate as well.
