As we part ways

As we part ways
And go our seperate ways
As our hearts detach from each other
And stop beating as one
As we come to the end of our journey
My journal tells the story our fondest memories
Our first date,our first argument
Our favourite song to which
We both sang along all night long

As we part ways I cant say I never tried
To warn my heart never to fall so deeply
In love with you, because love wounds never heal
But keeping love silent kills all the more

As we part ways
I search for ways to convince my heart
That there is no us anymore
But who can silnce the poetry
Of the heart when words
Fail to say it rightly.. .
