As slowly, I burn

Hold tight to the waste, That surrounds my embrace
Conspire to impress my world with hate upon your face
Smother yourself in comforting shame
Choke on the echoes of dignity's name
Travel the fragments that blister and churn
Collecting the ashes, As slowly I burn

Starve your companion, Blind me of vision
Torture me tomorrow with your suffering decision
Pleasure your lungs with welcoming air
Carve my description into eyes of despair
Eat from the gardens of flavor and wealth
Polluting the chamber I label as health

Chant a phrase of worth, To sanctify my birth
Disregard the mortal mess left behind by mother earth
Honor yourself with trophies of pride
Bathe in the ocean of arrogant tide
Borrow affection, name it concern
Collecting the ashes, As slowly I burn
