As a cover can contradict the contents

Such a taunting smile and laugh,
so outgoing, but really you dont know the half
dont I project myself so clearly and loudly?
dont I catch you with my elegant walk,
striding so proudly?
I ceaze you with a wink of an eye,
Charismatic; Forget me? I'd like to see you try.
At the end of the day when I retreat to my silence,
I unlock myself, so weary of acting; i put down my defense
I open up thehidden area where within my heart,
truthand dark spills out and my memories and I depart
on a twisted barren road, I cant help but let consume me,
the pain and struggles ive been through, that no ones knows but me.
Just like a book, you are drawn to the most inviting,
that pessimistic, lurking novel, is not in the least bit enticing.
In knowledge thatwithout false depiction,
you would cast me aside without confliction
So when you get tangled in my array of deception,
Im the only one who knows that my exterior gives you a twisted conception,
My alluring cover does not portray
the truth of the depth and pain of my dismay.
