Apprehensive

The way you smile when we are out
Always draws my attention to your mouth
I'm always elated when you're around me
For you're the only sunshine that I see
You make my world easier to live in
With you, it always feels like I'm flying
In time, I've grown to adore you
I couldn't help myself after seeing all that you do
All of the immense feelings that you make me undergo
Has made it impossible for me to let you know

I'm afraid to lose what we already have
If I tell you, I know not how you will behave
What if you become outraged?
Then I'll never escape this cage
Even though there's always a possibility
That I might not find your answer as an inequity
Yet, I cannot risk the comradeship you and I have obtained
What a wuss I am, all I tend to do lately is complain
I just wish I was brave enough
To let you know even though it might get rough
 I love you with all my heart
But those are words that will never leave my heart
