Another Me

Another me is who I've become
in order to face a world that's numb
Too much hidden deep inside
All of this just for some time to bide.

A tormented soul with no peace within
Can't find an end, there's nowhere to begin.
My heart overflows with no room to give
I fight for air with the urge to live.

Never once have I stopped to grieve
Countless times I've forgotten to breathe
The thoughts bleed in, my heart they will haunt
No matter what I seem to want.

One day everything will come tumbling down
Until then the balls will keep going 'round
Nicely placed up in the air
No one can see and no one will care...
